La Bella Vita

Situated in the new prime district of Taichung, this apartment project is known for its iconic residential high-rise planned by architect, Antonio Citterio. According to the architect's statements, this high-rise "reunites fine living with social sustainability emphasizing informal luxury, promoting harmonious relations with the surrounding urban context and fostering human interaction." In this project, the interior planning inherits the core of informal luxury lifestyle, with a concatenation of architectural languages cohering to the architect's approaches.

Mingling elements of a contemporary approach with influences from the minimalism forms, the holistic interior planning aims on fine living, infused with composed tranquility. Besides the eclectic forms of linear arrangement, diverse materiality coexists with distinct color contrast, fulfilling effortless luxury.

Confronting a paradigm shift of habitation and living form, how to adopt an upscale way of living model aimed at the new generations was considered. Conceive an idea of a micro gallery in living spaces, a long-narrow niched installed with the self-supporting cabinet system equipped with glass doors. A normal one-way corridor transmutes into a versatile window display, not only to showcase resident’s collections, but also to pursue a unique and tasteful lifestyle.

The interior color scheme inherits its brownish-orange tone. Accentuated by carrara marble-cladded backdrops, sawed wood-veneering details sustain tactile warmth; whereas the massive metallic-paneling at the open kitchen generates exceptional luster and luxurious vibes.
